R.D. Crumley & Company is proud to serve the Houston area with a deep commitment to quality, safety, and reliable service. Our mission is simple: deliver exceptional work with efficiency, integrity, and the highest standards of safety for every customer and every project.
Founded in September 1978 by R.D. and June Crumley, the company began as a small maintenance and repair contractor for Entex, Inc. in Houston, Texas. With just five employees, a 2½ ton construction truck, a trailer, a backhoe, and a single pickup, R.D. Crumley & Company built a foundation rooted in hard work and honest service.
Over the decades, our operations grew to include maintenance, repair, and installation services for major utilities such as CenterPoint Energy, Atmos Energy, Unigas, Montgomery Gas, Summit, and LDC, Inc., spanning Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Mississippi. Upon R.D. Crumley's retirement, leadership passed to his son, Russell Crumley, who continues to guide the company with the same dedication and values.

Today, R.D. Crumley & Company proudly maintains a 48 year partnership with CenterPoint Energy and has expanded to a team of more than 150 employees. Our field operations include 8 directional boring crews and 22 foremen, creating a strong leadership base of 32 experienced team leaders.
What has never changed is our commitment to our customers. Every employee is dedicated to honest communication, fair treatment, and completing each job with skill, care, and the highest level of safety.
